Evah est une jeune fille du Kenya, au delà d'une simple participante elle apporta une réelle contribution à la réussite de la randonnée, avec ses origines, et aussi avec ce beau témoignage dont elle nous fait part ici!

Perfectly in its natural setting and show it to the world.
Nature,
art, photography, love, friendships and laughter all mixed up in one single
event. Natur’art. Organized by Saw‘art and Carnet d’exploration.
Learning to capture man in an environment he resonates with. All the way up the mountainous trek we climb. A group of passionate people who adore nature and photography. I saw cameras of all dimensions and sizes and I couldn’t help the feeling of excitement at owning one someday. The long snaky road wound all across the forest. The thicket on the left so thick, a beautiful reminder you are in the forest. The steep downhill on the right covered with plant life from the very edge sliding all the way down.

Picking up at the far bottom of the ridge and going uphill in a beautiful green blanket giving you a special kind of peace.
The fresh air. The wind, blowing through your shirt into the body. The breathtaking view of the far scape of nothing but green land extended like the waves on the ocean only immobile. Nature simply took my breath away and gave me the perfect air I needed first hand.

The forest of Ms’ila is characterized by the coniferous trees. Well distributed all across the forest. Cones all over the road. We walk around collecting those that attract our curious eyes. Running up the hill completely ignoring the weight of our backpacks. singing like we don’t care, laughing at a joke a new-found friend just told. ‘Life is beautiful when you are free.’ Is the statement painted all over.

The sound of cameras shutter to capture the
silence of the jungle. I can only
imagine how beautiful the photos are; given the fact that, they are being taken
by passionate photographers. Who not only look but also capture the best of the
moments.
Our hosts Siffedine and Hind, taught us how
to take photos, the right time, the right angles, the shutter speed, light and
resolution. How to focus on an object and the different types of cameras. (I
didn’t know there were so many of them).
It is amazing how big an art photography is. We had photos taken with a
reflector pane.
Hela, explained about various
plants and their roles in the ecosystem. The interdependence between plants and
animals. Urging us to take the initiative and protect our environment.

The upper canopy of the forest covered by a
beautiful chlorophyll green going all the way up to the top of this hill a few
miles ahead. With a few eucalyptus trees popping up here and there and disrupting
the perfect canopy in a splendid manner.
The views left my eyes wide opened and my big mouth in an even bigger
O-shape and for a moment I was breathless.

The serenity of the place gave us sense of belonging. Kenya, Tanzania and Algeria were well represented on this beautiful learning/fun day.
Language did not seem a barrier. Arabic, French, English and Swahili all blended and filled the air with fragrance of diversity. Stories about Tanzania, Kenya, Oran were shared as we drank herbal tea made from lavender with baghrir. An Algerian traditional food.

Merci beaucoup de me faire vivre un bout de la randonnée que j'ai raté par manque de place :)
